Some Non-Carrot Material...
Robot Comics "Robot Comics" Number 0 from June of 1987.   Bob states in the forward that this issue, "...is the first published form of an experimental genre ...called ELECTRA-FICTION."   This style can also be found in his "Adventures in Limbo" stories.   Story and art by Bob Burden.
Meet the Strangler "Mystery Men Stories No.1" was released in Summer 1996.  This is Bob's VERSION - A format for his primarily textual works.  There are a few illustrations scattered about, but the story is the thing.  The Mystery Men have been appearing in the FC Comics for some time now.
Fun with Gumby "Gumby's Summer Fun Special" from July 1987.  Who could pen a story featuring Gumby, Pokey and a hoard of space aliens but our Mr. Burden.  With art by Art Adams to boot.
Peek-a-Boo The inside cover of the above mentioned special.
Our Heroes And the splash page of the once again above mentioned special.
Mystery Men Unite! Mystery Men of America cards #4 and #13.  San Diego trading cards from the con.

And a few sketches from Mr. B...
Ever felt like this? A sketch I received with my signed copy of "Mystery Men Stories No.1".
More Robots A page from Robot Comics sent along with another order.
Just a note... The reverse of the sketch above.  Whatta guy!
The Budda? This one came with a group of FC back issues.  Let's call him the "Roundman".
Here's an interesting clown sketch.
And lastly a bit of the carrot on an envelope. Pretty cool stamps too.
