Notes: If you were alive in the 1980s you will be familiar with the cheerleader and the "Hey Mickey" chant. What a lot of folks don't know is that Toni Basil was an established dancer in her own right prior to her pop-esque releases. She choreographed and appeared with Annette Funicello in the film Pajama Party, acted in Easy Rider among other movies and had her own dance troupe (The Lockers). Her self-directed video for Mickey took off and she had a pop culture hit that still resonates today. This copy is a club mix backed with a spanish language version of Mickey. Fun stuff.
