The Music of Captain Beefheart

Born Don Vilet, Captain Beefheart is an artist, painter, poet, blues persona, shouter, howler, madman, raconteur and many other titles which have been bestowed upon him over the years. Associated with Frank Zappa the Capt. gathered about him the young and talented and proceeded to make sounds and tell stories that could make a strong man weep and a frail man fly.
