Always on the more accessible end of the jazz spectrum Ramsey and his trio never fail to entertain with his light touch and pleasant demeanor. Looked at in some circles as more of a pop player Ramsey has the chops and the insight to play jazz wrapped around a simple melody. As a result of his stylings his music reached more of a non-traditional jazz crowd and wider acceptance.
