Notes:  Brought to us by the fine folks at Command Records this is another nice example of those associated with Mr. Light being right there in the thick of all things cool. Built around the diminutive percussion instrument each song has a full description of each songs instrumentation, tone and some of the players. Exhaustive liner notes provide for a fine read for the detail oriented among us. There are familiar old songs, pop standards and whatnot distributed among the grooves on this LP, all given the bongo treatment and the Enoch Light sonic signature. The cover art is in the Command house style and one can tell at a glance that the cool cats and kittens will be purring all over this one.
