Notes: The team of Bacharach/David was on a roll and they were chosen to produce a score for this film. With a cast including Woody Allen, Peter's Sellers and O'Toole, Ursula Andress and others the music would have to stand much scrutiny by the viewing audience. They did not fail. My Little Red Book has gone on to be covered numerous times (most effectively by Arthur Lee and Love) and it still sounds good today. Tom Jones belting out the title tune is always a crowd please down at the boozer. This mono pressing is graced by cover art from the hand of Frank Frazetta and almost has a Jack Davis feel about it.
