Artist:  Joan Baez

Title:  Any Day Now

Date:  1968

Label:  Vanguard Records   VSD-79306/7

Cover Design and Illustrations:  Joan Baez

Notes:  A two record set consisting of Joan's take on sixteen Bob Dylan tunes. A nice selection of material (I'm especially fond of side 2) and Joan manages to pull it off admirably. I'm sure, being a close confidant of the author, she has a special insight into some of the material. The cover sketches are done by Joan and are her interpretations of a few of the songs. Simple line work, but they manage to convey the meaning to the viewer.
