Notes: Jimmy Carl left the Zappa fold and it appears he moved to Texas, found a few friends and played some blues. This is a good thing. The album has a good feel from the familiar starter (Big Leg Emma) through the very last tune. The Mannish Boys take on Otis Blackwell, Junior Wells and even a bit of Frank himself and do a darn fine job of it. Honing ones chops with the Mothers can only help out in the long run. Nothing fancy here folks, simple cover graphics and a photo of some happy lookin' fellas.
