Notes: Ron
Carter has played with them all over the years. In this recording
from the seventies he has gathered together some of the best. Billy
Cobham on drums and Hubert Laws on flute set up a canvas for Ron
to sketch his ideas and roam about. There is no breakneck riffing
here, but a more controlled thoughtful session. Any time Ron is
in the room it's a good idea to give him listen.
