Notes: Here
we have music created for the incredibly strange Kubrick film
based upon the book by Anthony Burgess. Not all of the tunes
were used in the final cut, but they all were drawn from the
same well. As fascinating as it is disturbing the film rides
along on the electronic carpet woven by Carlos and Rachel Elkind.
From the seeds of an "wouldn't it be great if…" comment
came the request from Kubrick to meet with the pair to discuss
using Walter's music for the film. Even if we put all that aside
the record is still a strong collection of material. The cover
art brings different elements of the film together in collage
form. Not for the faint of 'art.
