Notes: This
appears to be a very early (1st?) album from Roy. The liner notes
state, "...a fine new talent...has suddenly appeared on the
scene". Roy had been doing studio work for Wanda Jackson and
Capitol noticed he was a talent in his own right. This record is
a fine display of his fingerboard prowess. I do believe that Roy
can play anything with strings on it. Why you could probably string
a possum and Roy could make it sing. The song selection rnages
from twist tunes, a polka, a rag and more. The cover, blurred by
the lightning quick motion of our hero, shows Roy with a nice looking
Fender in use. If you see this one, snatch it up.
