Notes: This
trio of mixes from former Stranglers front man comes to
us via the film When the Wind Blows by Raymond Briggs. The
vinyl is of British origin and is rather enjoyable in spite of
the inclusion on the back cover of statistics pertaining to the
number of warheads and ballistic missiles possessed by both the
USA and USSR. I've never seen the film so I can't comment on that,
but I like the music and the remixes work rather well. If your
already a fan this will help to fill out your collection, if you're
not already indoctrinated and happen across this, give it a listen
or two. The cover art is a might menacing, but suits the subject
matter. Life isn't all puppies and flowers and lager you know.
