Notes: A
mono pressing on the "6-Eye" label (for those who care
about such thing) this record still sounds great. A more accessible
Miles is here with the assistance of Gil Evans and his orchestra.
This session is one of only two concerts that miles and Gil had
worked on together. And it makes for a nice pairing. I'm not certain
as to the exact meaning of the cover art, but it's eye catching
none the less. This has been re-issued as a 2-disc remastered set
which should probably be in the collection of those who are fond
of Miles work.
