Notes: For
this release Bob picks up his electric guitar (it appears to be
that black Strat from the cover photo) and calls up some of his
friends to come by his garage and jam a bit. Mike Bloomfield and
Al Kooper are the perfect sidemen for this project. Dylan sings,
snarls and celebrates all through the record without losing any
of his wit, wisdom and song stylings. Blues, folk, rock and story-telling
are all here cheek to jowl and getting along just fine. The man
has killer skills and I still get chills everytime I hear "Ballad
of a Thin Man" playing. Bob and his Triumph shirt on the front
and a few studio shots on the rear. This is a mono, promotional
pressing and it sounds great.
