Notes: With
the help of long time legend Skeeter Davis, NRBQ takes a trip down
a country lane and it seems to suit the fellers just fine. A mix
of original tunes and country covers fills out the grooves in typical
NRBQ style. Skeeter calls this a milestone record in her career
and her voice never sounded better. I especially enjoy the arrangement
of "Someday My Prince Will Come". It'd fit right in at
the barn dance next weekend. Never one to do thing halfway NRBQ
throws its collective "all" into this one and comes up
with a wineer. I'm not where in the timeline it occurs, but Skeeter
married Joey at some point along the road. Group shot on the front
has a period feels due to the hand-tinting. Very nice British import
pressing.
