The Album Cover Art Gallery

Artist:  Donovan

Title:  Sunshine Superman

Date:  1966

Label:  Epic Records  LN 24217

Cover Design:  Dick Smith

Notes:  One of the pop bard's most familiar albums, this record is full of songs which have become Donovan standards.   And a few have been covered by other artists as well. It's a record of legends and witches and ladies and wheels and queens and angels and on and on. The cover illustration and color selection has a nice art deco feel to it. The picture shows us a young Donovan with some sideburns and hair with a mind of its' own. A very nice album it is.
