Notes: After
Rockpile ran its course Dave Edmunds went back to the roots, maybe
not his personal roots, but the roots of the music he loved. there's
a Chuck Berry tune and a great Terry
Adams (NRBQ) romp to get the blood pumping
and the feet moving. Maybe a little uneven this record hit at just
the right time for those not swayed by the fluorescent new wave
of the eighties and looking for a place a little closer to home
with some guitar, bass, percussion and a piano or two. Nice stylish
cover art with clean graphics and Dave holding a beautiful Gibson
just ready to rock.
