Notes: This
third album by Joe, while maybe not as exciting as the first two
records, still has its moments. A mix of originals and a handful
of Butch Hancock tunes make for some good listening. Joe can tell
a story with the best of them and the band sounds like it has settled
into its groove and they're just waiting to carry you away. The
cover looks like a wet Texas night just urging you into the honky
tonk for a beer or two. The band graces the inner gatefold cover.
