Notes: What
self respecting bachelor pad would call itself complete without
the inclusion of at least one set of tunes by Juan Garcia Esquivel?
A self taught pianist and arranger he came from the field of Mexican
TV and radio. Always inventive, his clever use of vocal groups
as well as stereo effects give the listener a unique experience.
He can also burn up the ivories on occasion. The rubbery, cartoon-like
guitars and a smattering of timpani, congas, bongos and organ are
featured amongst the 26-piece orchestra on this group of mostly
standards. An unearthly delight adorns the cover as she dances
among the craters. Gracias, Esquivel!
