Notes: You've
just got to dig this one from its top of the line playback equipment
scattered about to the shoeless couple burning up the rug. Isn't
the speaker on top the prototype for the new "Wave" radio
I've seen advertised? And what a pleasant surprise to hear some
pretty good tunes coming out of the speakers right from the first
cut. While still showing the aural mark of the time of its recording
this is a fun set turned in by the orchestra and its leader. And
they even recorded four originals for the record. According to
the liner notes the use of the word "matriculates" on
the cover alone indicates that this is a record for the sophisticated
among us. Those two swinging kids on the cover with their college
life and dreams of a brighter tomorrow still know when to drop
the shoes, lose the books and go with the flow of the music. A
classic flea market find.
