Notes: Most
of the songs on this fantastic album by the Dead became continual
tour material and produced numerous cover versions from artists
such as Patti Smith and the Indigo girls. Less experimental then
some of their previous works the record was a successful take on
the American folk tune with it's storytelling and acoustic sound.
One of their more cohesive albums. The cover art by Mouse captures
the mood and has a period feel to it. you wouldn't be surprised
to see the guys hop on their horses and ride off into the sunset.
