Notes: Another
meeting of two cultures where the results exceed the sum of the
two. From Brazilian folk and San Francisco jazz, without the aid
of a mutual language, the fellows find a common ground in the music.
Even common tunes such as "Girl from Ipanema" sound fresh
in this setting. It might be the wonderful balance in tone between
the piano and guitar or it might be the subtle phrasings passed
between them, but in any case it's a nice listen. The cover photo
looks pretty relaxed and both players look like they've enjoyed
the sessions. You will too.
