Notes:
Now here's an odd one. According to the cover notes this album was recorded "... live at Rick's Cafe, Casablanca". The only dated piece is a 17:30 version of Good Lovin' recorded live at the closing of the Fillmore west on 7/2/71. This is a boxed four record set manufactured in Valencia, Venezuela. I found this in New Jersey sometime around 1977/78 timeframe and it closely resembles a live show I caught in Englishtown, N. J. featuring the Dead, New Riders, Marshall Tucker. The recording quality is lacking, but listenable. This show has now been cleaned up and released on CD as Dick's Picks Volume 15 (without the Fillmore cuts). |
