Notes: A
solid album from the "Keith & Donna" line-up of the
Dead, a few of the tunes went on to become perennial concert staples.
A little funky in places, it seemed that the Dead were absorbing
sounds from the street and mixing them into the broth they stewed
in the musical hills of their minds. The perfect music for a bop
on down the block to the local tavern for a nice chilly beverage
and then a trip through the park to dig nature for a while. The
splendid cover art comes to us by way of the creator of such titles
as "Wonder Warthog" and the "Fabulous, Furry Freak
Brothers". College wouldn't have been the same without those
guys. And who could forget "Fat Freddy's Cat"?
