Notes: A nice set
of songs performed by Jimmie Dale and his cohorts. But, then again,
how could one go wrong with songs written by the likes of Townes
Van Zandt, Joe Ely and Butch Hancock? Jimmie has that earnest, plaintive
way about him that just makes me want to believe every word he sings.
There is no one who sounds quite like him. And that's a good thing.
The cover art is fabulous and captures the high lonesome desert feeling
so well. More people should be aware of his work. And the work of
Joe Ely as well. Spread the word children....
