Notes: The
boys from Long Island put together another fine album full of songs
and stories. Featuring the ever-popular "Yellow Flower" somehow
the general public just didn't seem to discover the Good Rats while
their fans base was still strong. Peppi could always be depended
on to turn in a handful of classic tunes for each record and the
band never failed to bring them to musical life. The band rubbed
elbows with a few players in the upper tiers, but never took that
step forward. Not to say that they we're any the lesser for it.
I was fortunate enough to be living in New Jersey in the late seventies
and saw the Rats play live more than a few times and we weere never
disappointed. The cover art places the rat in a Gershwin-like setting
as the boys watch from th wings.
