Notes: Two
tunes from the rockin' release "Fresh Fish Special" featuring
Link Wray on guitar. We get the stroll tempo'd A side and the ever-popular
B side to get our feet moving and our fingers snappin'. I'll admit
my ignorance here, I had never heard of brother Link until I came
through the conduit of Robert Gordon. But once exposed to the real
raw feel of the guitar against Robert's incredible rockabilly voice
I was hooked. I slipped from the punk leaning I was exhibiting
and went head first into a months long research and acquisition
jag until I was well versed in both Robert and Link. What an awakening.
Not much here in the way of cover art, but still a rockin' record.
And it's a 12" 45 rpm platter to boot!
