Notes: This
motion picture soundtrack has always been a favorite of mine. Folmed
on location in Hawaii and California the music includes a nice
version of "Hear My Train a Comin'" recorded
live in Berkeley by Wally Heider. There's also the power duo of "Dolly
Dagger" and "Room Full of Mirrors". The
band changes players at times, but the sound is always strong with
Jimi in fine fettle. The cover photos capture Jimi in a spiritual,
relaxed frame of reference along with performance shots. A nice
addition if you don't already have it.
