Notes: This
live recording from the New Orleans House in Berkeley, Ca. was
a perfect first album for this dynamic duo. Easing away from the
music of the Jefferson Airplane the songs lean more toward
folk blues and a have strong pull toward the Rev. Gary Davis. Jorma
has that knack for finger picking and his vocals are rough and
soft at the same time, such as an old bulky wool sweater on a damp
morning. Jack is always where he needs to be and never out looking
to draw attention to himself. Both musicians sound like they are
playing from within the song. Just a stellar album from end to
end. Cover from the era with a family connection. A good place
to come if you don't have any Tuna in your collection yet.
