Notes:  For over twenty years, when studio talk turned to "who shall we get for the piano bits?" it was Nicky's phone that would be ringing. Joined by some of the finest players around (and George Harrison posing as George O'Hara) Nicky's second solo outing, the first coming in 1966, is a strong solid affair. He touches on ballads and rocking stompers and it all sounds good. But with an ensemble such as this one could expect no less. The front cover portrait has an innocent, frail look about it. The whole record has a handmade feel to it. A classic.
