Notes:  I thought that Craig looked a little familiar when I saw this record and after a little digging it became clear that it wasn't a musical connection I was making. It seems as well as being a child piano prodigy he was also dabbling in a bit of acting. I think he was in at least two episodes of the original Star Trek series as well as appearances on The Flying Nun and Lassie. But, I digress. The music on this platter is well played and a bit surprising when taking into consideration the ages of the players. Bass, drums (with a double bass drum setup no less) and piano make up this swinging trio. After a few years of classical training and Craig was drawn in by the jazz temptation. After all with an IQ of 184 he could tell which way the wind was blowing. I'm not sure what he is up to today, acting, creating music or living in obscurity, but he left his mark here on this platter. All it took was one look at the cover photo with its swinging fashion statement of medallions and Nehru jackets to grab my attention. Well played fellas.
