Notes: Classic album very indicative of the times. Disagreements with their record company held up the release for a bit, but it was worth waiting for. Killer versions of "Wooden Ships" and Jorma's "Good Shepard" are two of the standouts. All in all not a clunker to be seen. With a little help from Crosby/Stills and Jerry Garcia on the steel guitar the Airplane continue with their brand of revolution by way of music. The front cover is a great shot by Jim Marshall, one of the godfathers of rock photography. The back cover has an article about the "Paz Chin-In" held in Paz, South Dakota, a comic strip that I believe is called "Odds Bodkins"`and you get "The Question of the Day". a must have for any student of the sixties. Question of the Day: What is your favorite stripe on the flag?
