Notes: A
sampler of sorts. Not a jam session, but three seperate groupings
here all led by a trombonist. And what groupings we have here.
a quick scan of the musicians listed below and you can see a large
number who have either led their owns combos or where instrumental
in whatever group they were in. there is a good range of material
in both tempos and content. Each artist has four songs represented
here, the first two from 1949 and the remaining in 1951. And the
wonderfully grim cover art is by the one and only Don Martin, he
of Mad Magazine fame.
