Notes: Recorded
in Las Vegas Jonah and his pals turn in an excellent set of shufflin'
tunes that'll have the joint a-jumpin' all night. As he was already
pulling a nightly gig at the Sands Hotel the powers that be nixed
the planned sessions at the Capitol Tower in Los Angeles and
recorded the band in the Emerald Room I the hotel in the afternoons.
But from the sound of things you'd think they were presenting
themselves to a packed house at midnight. Always tight and tasty
this is a fine record. The cover photo catches Jonah about to
take up his horn and make us smile.
