Notes: An
excellent collection of acoustic recordings by Mr. Kottke. His
self-penned liner notes indicate that he was born in 1867 and beyond
that his history is unclear. All that aside, he displays an amazing
prowess for working wood and wires into a pleasant frenzy. Having
heard him sing I must say that I much prefer his instrumental output.
The scratchboard style cover graphic is as homemade as the music
within. Both are roughhewn and original. Very nice.
