Notes: Recorded
live at the Cook Couny jail on September 10, 1970 this is a document
and a testament to the man's depth of emotion in both word and
deed. To play before 2117 inmates and give them the same show as
the paying public at other venues would be more than enough to
ask, but B.B. shines on this record. The liner notes state that
B.B. and his band received a standing ovation at the end of the
night and asked if he could come back and play again sometime.
The answer was obvious. All one has to do is take a look at that
face on the cover. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the face of a
man in love with his work.
