Artist:  The Kingston Trio

Title:  The Kingston Trio

Date:  1964

Label:  Decca Records   DL 4613

Notes:  Their first release for Decca and it's full of tunes from Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, Rod McKuen and others. Folk music for the people. Anger tempered in intelligence delivered from strings, wood and air. Such fine clean cut lads, but their minds were on more social issues. Not that they couldn't wail when the setting called for it. A very good representation of the Trio captured and pressed into the grooves.

Line Up:

Nick Reynolds
Bob Shane
John Stewart
