Notes: We
have here Al Kooper's first solo outing. His previous work sends
him well prepared down the solo route and he does not disappoint
in the least. Although some of the between song effects are a bit
distracting today, at the time is was a show of psychedelic sensibilities.
He fills the record with original tunes as well as works by Harry
Nillson, Steve Winwood and Bill Monroe.
A fabulous offering from start to finish for those fond of Al's
later work. The cover art places Al front and center while the
back cover shows our boy hero dining on the symbol of liberty.
A nice find and I do believe it has been issued on CD as well.
