Notes: The
striking cover photos drew my eye to this one. The Ful blues of
the sky along with k. d.'s look of contentment say is all. The
record itself is a hoot full of fun tempered with a few slow, sad
ones thrown in just so you don't get all full of yourself. "Big
Boned Gal" is a favorite that must be seen live to fully appreciate,
but even coming from the vinyl it still makes me smile. Altogether
it's a fine outing for Ms. lang and company. Carry on k. d., carry
on.
