Notes: A nice album of standards of the time by a seventeen year old Brenda. During this session she settles in and brings warmth and a sweetness to the material. At times we can hear the beginning of that wonderful growl she can pull off. Aided by Owen Bradley the orchesra accompaniment is full but not overwhelming. The front cover photo is full of sweetness and light and suits the material perfectly.
