Notes: Recorded
during a live performance at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
this British import record is full of clever wordplay and social
commentary of the period. Tom, a professor of mathematics if I'm
not mistaken, tells tales with his tongue planted solidly into
his cheek and a twinkle in his eye. Although the cover show a near
empty hall, his concerts packed the college auditorium to the rafters.
According to the hilarious back cover notes, "...he had settled
in Cambridge, Mass. where he earns a precarious living peddling
dope to the local school children and rolling an occasional drunk.
He spends his declining years with his shrunken head collection,
his Nobel Prizes, and his memories. A CD box set of his work is
now available and well worth borrowing from a friend if you can
talk him into buying it.
