Notes:  Just a stellar album from start to finish. Lindley, with a wide range of guitar skills, blends influences from south of the border and over the sea to make his own beautiful brand of music. his later works with Henry Kaiser and his interest in "world" music can be foretold by sampling of this set list. A bouncy "Bye Bye Love", great reading of  "Mercury Blues" and even a fresh sounding "Twist and Shout". And the rest of the record bobs and weaves between genres and styles, nothing sounding forced or trendy. Just good music in the hands of a master. This is a record everyone should own. Repeat listening as necessary. And the man himself got all dressed up for the photo shoot too.

Line Up:

David Lindley: vocals, various guitars, Divan Saz, Banduria, fiddle, whistle
Ras Baboo: percussion
Ian Wallace: drums
Bob Glaub: bass guitar
William "Smitty" Smith: Vox organ
Jackson Browne: vocals
Billy Payne: organ
Garth Hudson: "The Horns"
Curt Bouterse: hammer dulcimer
