Notes: From
their East La roots and the backyard parties they played to their
much larger successes Los Lobos has never strayed from their musical
vision. Crossing boundaries from traditional songs to a bit of
Tex-Mex swing and then mixing in with the cow-punk of The Blasters
and X the boys done good for themselves. This record has more than
its share of fine vocals and toe tapping rhythms to keep you busy
for a while. Throw in a ballad or two and we're on our way. And
as the cover photos illustrate, it's all about family. Great album.
