Notes: According
to the liner notes by Gunther Schuller the music on this LP has
its roots in the film score for the motion picture "Odds Against
Tomorrow". As always the band shifts styles and tempos, passing
the baton amongst the players and each shows the ability to lead
as well as follow. But, not to imply that the musicians merely
follow the leader, each member has full control of his own instrument
and has a feeleing for where to step fward and where to step back.
A rerelease of an earlier UA LP the Solid State logo is quite fetching
in its own way.
