of the Senseless" is a tale of the modern world taken from
the Mekons "Rock and Roll" release and here it is spread
across a promo only 12" EP. The flip side though is the real
reason for this acquisition. A 20 minute interview with Jon Langford
and Tom Greenhalgh conducted by Pete Shelley (Buzzcocks).
An intimate conversation, you can hear the traffic in the street
as they talk about the band, their music and their view of the
world such that it is. The uncredited front cover art beckons with
its come hither whip and the back cover has blurbs raving about
the Mekons from various print outlets. A relic from their short-lived
association with A&M Records.
