Notes:  With their tune "Suavecito" a staple of radio when I was in high school (and it still is to some extent) this was probably my first taste of music Hispanic in nature.  After my initiation with this record I went from one Santana (Jorge) to another (Carlos) and my taste base grew larger. This entire record is just full of the stuff that made San Francisco the musical jumping off spot of the sixties. There was a blend of cultures and an appreciation for music of all backgrounds. Tight controlled playing and a wonderful percussion beat makes this a classic record worth more than a few listens even today.
