Notes: Although
most people couldn't name one of their tunes, the Moby Grape was
there at the beginning and played some great earthy rock n' blues
music for the denizens of the Haight district and beyond. One stand
out on this record is the simply wrought "Naked, If I Want
To". They've also included "Arthur Godfrey" which
needs to be played at 78 rpm (try that with todays turntables).
Surrealistic deco art on both covers and lyrics reflecting the
turmoil of the changing times make for an interesting slice of
the sixties.
