being the fidgety person he was could not sit around and wait for
Pete to have another stroke of genius and call the team together.
No, he went and gathered up mates from near and far and went into
the studio to produce this collection of tunes. i wish there were
some way to see back into time to witness the assumed drunken revelry
that went on while this record was being assembled. Keith Moon,
Ringo, Harry Nilsson, Joe Walsh, Flo & Eddie and on and on. While
no one would accuse Keith of being a premier vocalist he has his
charm and a love of surf melody and just all around good tunes.
Not a necessary album, but a grand keepsake from a mad man lost
far too early. the die-cut cover and inner sleeve can be matched
to present the "two sides of the moon".
