Notes: Nektar,
an "art-rock" band that acquired cult status on the east
coast and in Germany, featured a multi-media light show along with
lengthy instrumentals. Most of their musical output was centered
around the particular theme of the album in question. The
album covers were always fantasy tinged and leaning toward the
Dali / Escher line of thought.
