Notes: With
Roye Albrighton gone and Dave Nelson along to fill the void Nektar
moves forward with their seventh release. The sound, while different
in tone, still delivers the goods albeit in smaller, punchier bites.
Rather than fill an entire side with a single storytale the new
Nektar is more in the range of FM radio lenght tunes. Not exactly
a successful strategy for a band with fans that expect stellar
musicianship and prog-length workouts. Not an essential album,
but it is what it is. The front cover photo is graced by a young,
13 year old Brooke
Shields.
